Description: I Nyoman Tusan (1933-; Tejakula, Buleleng, Bali) studied at the Universitas Indonesia in Bandung , West Java (Institute Teknology Bandung, ITB, Bandung Institute of Technology) from 1954-1960, and at the Royal Academy of Fine Art in Gent, Belgium (1976-1977). He was a lecturer in fine art at Universitas Udayana in Denpasar. His works are modern interpretations of traditional Balinese symbols. Awards: Dharma Kusuma (Bali, 1992), Piagam Hadiah Seni (Indonesia 1993). Exhibitions : National Museum (Singapore), Museum Nasional (Jakarta, 1995). |
