Description: Ida Bagus Made Togog (1913-1989; Batuan, Gianyar, Bali) first began painting in the 1930s and showed much skill in using religious lore as his themes. he was a member of the Pitamaha artists association and continued to be very productive in his later years. Togog’s works reflected the dark and mysterious sides of Balinese ritual and folklore. Awards : Wija Kusuma (Gianyar, Bali), Dharma Kusuma (Bali, 1984).
