Rows of faceless dancers dressed like Balinese baris (warrior or line dance) march across like a ritual procession. Rhythms are established with strong strokes, repeated paterns, and legs raised in dancelike positions. The background also echoes their movements. Variations occur in skin tones, decorative use of colors, and motifs in costumes.
